The Good Intent

A very popular 16th century village pub that has made its reputation for selling fine ales - listed for the last four years in The C.A.M.R.A. Real Ale Guide. There are 4 regular real ales plus a guest - this pub is a rare outlet for Ansells Mild.
There are two bars which have retained much of there original features - wood fires and low beams. A large car park and garden that overlooks the River Ems - try and spot the brown trout!
Sunday night is quiz night - with prizes, £1 per person to enter. Friday night we have a meat draw - try and win your Sunday roast - there are normally 5/6 nice roasts to be won.
A normal pub food menu is available but we specialise in Pizza to either eat in or take away - tell the family you'll get them a pizza and enjoy a pint while you're waiting for it to be prepared and cooked! There are 10 pizza's to choose from which are made to order and cooked in our stone based oven which gives that true pizza taste.
